| FOR: Chairs of an Operating or Standing Committee |
| If you are the Chair of an Operating or Standing Committee within SCAKC the Board has created a form for you to complete annually to report to the Board the successes of your Committee and your thoughts on how SCAKC can add benefit to the Committee in the Future. Download the "Annual Committee Report Form" |
| FOR: City Committee Chairs |
| If you are a City Committee Chair you must be elected to your position as Chair by your Committee. The Board Created a "Committee Chair Election Resolution" that must be completed each year after the City Committee Chair election takes place. Please use this form to report the results of the election to the Board. Each City Committee must present this form by January of each year or the Chair and Committee will not have a vote. |
| Template Letters |
| A number of City Committee Chairs requested template letters they could send to those individuals, businesses, etc that have made a financial or in-kind contribution to their City Committee. Janiece Vohland, our past SCAKC Treasurer created a series of template letters for this use. You can find the "Contribution Acknowledgement Letters" here. If you do send these out please send a copy to the SCAKC address. Janiece was also kind enough to put together "Guidelines for Contributions to SCAKC and City Committees" so you will know the best way to work with and account for each contribution. |
| Outside Bank Account Information |
| There are still a few outside Bank account for SCAKC. If you are a City Committee Chair and you have an outside account you must complete a "Financial Reporting Form" at least quarterly and sent it to the SCAKC address. |
| Updated Documents |
| In 2004 the SCAKC underwent an internal review and as a result there are a number of updates to our internal working documents. These updates include a By-Laws Revision, as well as a letter that was written from Mayor Barnes and a new set of Guidelines for SCAKC from the Mayor. Additional updates also included a new set of Accounting Procedures. |
| Fundraising |
| If a City Committee is interested in assistance from the SCAKC for fundraising a form was designed for that request. Please complete the "Request to SCAKC for Event Funding" form and fax it to Jon McGraw at 816-285-9001. |
| Sample Operations Calendar |
| There have been a number of requests for a "Sample Operations Calendar" that the SCAKC as a whole or a City Committee may be able to follow. One has been posted here for your review. |
